#1: The Undertaker felt he trained for a 45-minute match and only got 5 minutes against John Cena
Chapter Two of "Undertaker: The Last Ride" made it clear that John Cena versus The Undertaker had a definite purpose.
Although some fans were naturally disappointed by the length of the match, (2 minutes 45 seconds, the shortest bout of WrestleMania 34) it was supposed to be that way in order to restore The Undertaker's image.
You could see that The Deadman moved way faster than he did at WrestleMania 33, and WWE felt that a small snippet of his in-ring prowess would be the best option for him at that stage.
Undertaker met with The Big Show backstage and confessed that he trained for a 45-minute contest and only got 5 minutes in the ring with John Cena. The Phenom received unanimous applause after his WrestleMania 34 bout since the match accomplished its primary task in the end.
The Undertaker redeemed himself for the time being, and he also felt regenerated for a proper slugfest in the near future. The hunger for one more match is exactly what will lead to a vicious cycle which will be explored in the next chapter of this limited docuseries.
