#1: Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman fought in an extremely polarizing and completely bizarre main event
WWE's "Wyatt Swamp Fight" has attracted positive and negative criticism from all kinds of Pro-Wrestling fans. Many writers here at Sportskeeda also have different opinions on this match.
Anybody who has been following my articles knows that I am a huge Bray Wyatt fan, so if there is a target consumer WWE had in mind while airing this match, it would definitely be me.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
As an avid fan of the horror genre, I couldn't care less about the company's generic attempt at "scaring" their audience through this Pay-Per-View, but the reason why I loved The Wyatt Swamp Fight is that it was layered with symbolism and easter eggs throughout its entirety.
Some events in this bout have been misinterpreted by the audience, especially when it comes to the appearance of Alexa Bliss who was compared to Sister Abigail, which would never be the case in reality since it has already been established that Sister Abigail died a long time ago.
If The Firefly Fun House was a trip through John Cena's mind, then The Wyatt Swamp Fight did the same for Braun Strowman, which would explain why The Monster Among Men projected Bliss as Sister Abigail in his own mind.
On the WWE SmackDown episode before Extreme Rules, Wyatt wasn't lying when he said that the swamp was literally buried with everything that represents pure evil since The Eater of Worlds drowned in the swamp to reveal a bigger evil, whom WWE fans refer to as The Fiend.
