After months of feuding against each other, Damian Priest will finally get to settle the score against The Miz at Sunday's WWE WrestleMania Backlash event.

During this week's WWE RAW, Priest wrestled The A-Lister's comrade, John Morrison. If Morrison had won the contest, The Miz would have received an advantage to decide the stipulation at WrestleMania Backlash.

However, The Miz's failed attempt to help his ally allowed Priest to emerge victorious on Monday Night RAW. Now that Priest had the advantage to pick a stipulation for his upcoming clash against The A-Lister, he chose a Lumberjack match for a reason.

The Miz is a top-tier opportunist. If all of his plans fail at WrestleMania Backlash, he may choose to flee the scene as a last resort. The presence of other superstars around the ring would prevent this outcome from happening in the first place.

It's quite fitting that The Miz's latest WWE Championship reign ended in a Lumberjack match earlier this year despite his desperate efforts to avoid the inevitable. At WrestleMania Backlash, The Miz's feud with Damian Priest may conclude in the same way, unless he figures out a loophole at the last minute.
