#1 Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, and Edge delivered one of the best WWE WrestleMania main events of all time
Over the past few years, the main event matches at WWE WrestleMania have lacked in a few departments. However, both nights of this year's WrestleMania pay-per-view changed that trend as Edge, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan delivered an amazing triple threat match on Sunday.
The buildup to this bout saw all three men give their best in terms of character work. Those efforts were reflected during their in-ring performances as well. Fans went crazy over Edge's first match in front of a large live crowd since his 2020 return.
But some things never change, as Reigns was jeered at WrestleMania once again, even though the negative crowd response was mostly generated due to his excellent work as a heel.
A large section of the crowd supported Bryan, and it was great to hear organic "Yes" chants echoing throughout the stadium in unison.
In the end, Jey Uso helped out Reigns to retain his WWE Universal Championship. The Tribal Chief won the match in style as he pinned both Edge and Bryan at the same time.
All three men could have won the match during various instances. However, the story culminated perfectly as Uso's interference did not make either Edge or Bryan look weak in defeat.
Roman Reigns will continue his dominant championship reign, while there is now enough scope to build a one-on-one feud between Edge and Daniel Bryan. Who do you think will be next in line to challenge Reigns for the Universal Championship?
