Let's not forget NXT is ultimately a part of WWE!

Throughout the comparison between WWE and AEW, many of us forget to include what I would call the most successful brand in WWE in recent history, NXT.

Being the brainchild of the Cerebral Assassin, Triple H, who is the COO of the company, NXT has delivered time and again and has proven to be a great show. Contrary to the main roster, NXT focuses more on the "sports" perspective of the business but has also given rise to some of the best stories and rivalries in the company's history.

While AEW Double or Nothing was an amazing show for sure, most of the NXT TakeOvers are at par with it, if not better. Most of the current stars of WWE like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and even Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley have once been a part of the so-called developmental brand of WWE.

With the emergence of NXT UK, WWE and Triple H surely are working towards expanding the product and globalizing it on a huge scale.
