With all the hype that surrounds the WWE, the company has failed to deliver some fresh quality television lately.
Top superstars are left to compete in tag-team bouts which has been compounded by a stale women's division, and a disappearing Universal Champion.
Considering how predictable the product is becoming, there are a lot of issues WWE needs to fix. WWE's creative booking is killing the credibility of a lot of top performers.
While Vince McMahon continues to push Roman Reigns to the moon, a plethora of talent sits idle; waiting for an opportunity.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
So, without further ado, let's dive deep and address the elephant in the room. Here are the 5 Biggest problems the WWE currently needs to address.
#1 Why is the Undertaker silent?
Ever since the Undertaker lost at WrestleMania 30, his credibility as a performer has started depreciating. Despite being one of the greatest that ever lived, The Phenom is nothing more than just a special attraction now.
Considering his loss to Roman Reigns was pitted as his final bout, the 53-year old returned for a date with John Cena at WrestleMania 34. The feud itself was carried by Cena alone; with no response from the Dead Man.
His last segment came at Raw 25 where he cut a confusing promo about his career. It's a shame that he's never addressed why he left his hat, gloves, and coat in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33.
He also wrestled Rusev in a Casket Match without any legitimate build-up.Taking all this into account, it only goes on to say that the WWE doesn't know what to do with the Undertaker. The Phenom, who used to haunt us with his supernatural gimmick is roaming directionless now.
His silence is disappointing. With all that John Cena did to ignite the Phenom, all we got was a squash match. Whether the Undertaker returns next year or not, not addressing his character's psyche will only increase the problems.
#2 The Disappearance of the Raw and SmackDown Tag-Team Division
With a weekly television, WWE gets the opportunity to tell stories with a fine blend of wrestling. However, the recent booking of the tag-team division has been disappointing.
Factions like Authors of Pain and Sanity are nowhere near our television screens. The reason for their sudden disappearance is the lack of creative booking.
If rumors are anything to go by, then there's a possibility that Roman Reigns could be forming a faction with Authors of Pain. However, those are still rumors.
There was a time when WWE was continually teasing us with Sanity's arrival, and now they are nowhere to be seen.
Judging by how teams like Revival and Ascensions have been treated, it won't come as a surprise if Sanity are also lost in the shuffle.
If the WWE continues to move on the same path, then tag-teams will continue to get buried. If there's a momentous for WWE to address the tag-team issue, it is now.
#3 Is the Intercontinental Championship bigger than every other title in the WWE?
There's no denying that Seth Rollins is doing everything he can to elevate the status of the Intercontinental Championship. The man is delivering some of the best matches on Raw on a weekly basis.
However, his constant quest to be hailed as a fighting champion has depreciated the Universal Championship.
Brock Lesnar's part-time schedule has gradually decreased the fans' investment in the Universal title.
Considering how awful Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns was, the question is - Is the Intercontinental Championship the biggest title on Monday Night Raw?
The biggest issue that surrounds the company is their treatment of the most coveted championships in the company.
It's a damn shame that Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe headlined Backlash instead of A.J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.
A title that is the most prestigious championship in WWE history does not even close the show. It only goes on to prove why the WWE Universe instantly rejected the idea of Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns.
#4 What is next for Braun Strowman?
If there's anything that made Monday Night Raw entertaining in 2017, it was Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men has cemented his position as the top guy on the red brand.
With all that he's achieved so quickly, it's disappointing that the company has no legitimate feuds for him. His feud with The Bar was only an act of comedy rather than a feud.
Ever since he won the Greatest Royal Rumble, the Monster has only featured in tag-team bouts. Considering the magnitude of his character, it doesn't make sense for Strowman to team up with other superstars.
While the fans are expecting him to dethrone the Beast, the creative team is teaming him with Bobby Lashley, Roman Reigns, and Finn Balor.
Since they have such a big star in Braun Strowman, not pushing the envelope at the right time would only make the situation worse.
Whether Strowman faces Brock Lesnar or not, the Monster needs to address his intentions or else his momentum will continue to derail.
#5 Is the Self-Proclaimed Baby Face the biggest Heel ever?
When you have the likes of Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, and A.J. Styles getting cheered on a weekly basis, the WWE still wants to go the other way around.
Choosing Roman Reigns as the face of the company has done more harm than good to the Big Dog. The Guy is continuously booed on Raw every week and has not evolved as a character.
The London crowd single-handedly rejected his recent altercation with Jinder Mahal. It only goes on to prove that The Roman Empire is digging its own grave.
With Roman Reigns complaining about the management holding him down, it will only coerce the fans to boo him more.
There's no denying that he's the biggest heel in the company without even being a bad guy. This speaks volumes about the current WWE product and their booking.
So, the question is - How far will WWE go to push Roman Reigns? If putting him in a feud with Jinder Mahal is not giving you the desired outcome, nothing else probably will.
