#4 Relying more on selling nostalgia rather than pushing the present
While WWE has been successful in extending their ties with international companies and promotions, the company has certainly failed to elevate their talent and nurture them to reach superstardom.
Events like WWE Greatest Royal Rumble and WWE Crown Jewel have proved how less influential the current stars are in selling an event outside their familiar territory.
Bringing legends like the Undertaker, Triple H, HBK, Trish Stratus, and Lita has brought more backlash from the fans, with more reliance on nostalgia acts.
If the same continues to happen on a weekly basis, stars who are scratching and clawing to make a name for themselves in the business will find their credibility diminished.
With WWE signing a lucrative deal with Saudi Arabia for almost ten years, there's no way that the company will consider losing their big stars over pushing the current talent, and that's the biggest problem.
