#4 Why did Kofi Kingston lose so badly at WWE Money in the Bank?

Kofi Kingston had all the momentum in the world heading into WWE Money in the Bank. He challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at the pay-per-view.

Kingston pinned Lashley on RAW a couple of months ago, while Xavier Woods picked up a victory over The All Mighty on RAW before Money in the Bank. Lashley was all fired up heading into the match and wanted to show an even more aggressive side to himself.

He did just that and dominated Kofi throughout the contest. He squashed the former WWE Champion and retained his title to make a big statement.

It was a great match for Lashley who needed to show what he’s truly capable of. WWE should book bigger pay-per-view matches like these that help build the current champions.

However, why was Kofi the victim of such punishment? He lost his WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar in a squash match not too long ago. The squash loss at Money in the Bank further raises the question of whether he is fit to take the WWE Championship once again.

WWE could have given him a slight chance in the match or booked someone else to take such a loss at the hands of The All Mighty. Did the company do the right thing by laying down Kofi to put Lashley over?
