#3 Will a former champion return to take on Charlotte Flair following her victory at WWE Money in the Bank?

Rhea Ripley walked into WWE Money in the Bank as the reigning RAW Women’s Champion. Many fans expected her to defeat Charlotte Flair convincingly and end the rivalry for good.

Ripley had the upper hand for most of the match, but Flair targeted her leg before making her tap out to the Figure Eight leglock. Not only did The Nightmare lose her title at Money in the Bank, but she also failed to prove herself against the top female superstar in WWE once again.

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

Why did WWE book Ripley to lose her title at Money in the Bank? Will Flair’s victory bring back a former RAW Women’s Champion who relinquished her title last year?

Becky Lynch’s return is imminent, and that could be the reason why WWE ensured that Flair looked like a big heel in the match. A babyface return from The Man could certainly shoot RAW’s ratings up.

While it’s disheartening to see Ripley lose the title so soon without having a good reign, fans could be in for a match between Flair and Lynch at SummerSlam.
