#1. Why weren’t there any women’s matches on WWE SmackDown?
WWE SmackDown hosted the contract signing ceremony between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch for Extreme Rules. The two women made their points clear for the big match at the upcoming pay-per-view.
However, apart from Lynch and Belair, no other female superstar was seen at Madison Square Garden. Instead, Universal Champion Roman Reigns and many other men on the SmackDown roster got the spotlight on Friday night.

Last week too, no women’s matches took place on SmackDown and only Lynch and Belair came out for their segment. Why weren’t any women’s matches held on SmackDown once again this week? Aren’t two hours enough to host at least one match between the talented women of SmackDown?
Natalya, Tegan Nox, Shotzi, and Carmella are a few of the big names who could have been featured on the show. Toni Storm and Liv Morgan have also been kept aside for far too long now.
It would have been good to see the creative team build the women’s tag team championship picture. Instead, WWE has preferred to build rivalries between the men of SmackDown while keeping the women aside.
