#3 Was it wise to give Seth Rollins a spot at WWE Survivor Series?
As mentioned earlier, Seth Rollins decided to sacrifice himself at WWE Survivor Series for the "greater good". This was a fitting way for the Superstar to get eliminated since he turned into The Messiah following last year’s Survivor Series event.
While WWE could have used many ways to take him out at Survivor Series and possibly given him a chance to get a future opponent, they decided to lay him out without building towards anything.
It makes sense that Rollins decided to sacrifice himself as he has been selfish and has no connection with SmackDown, but it beat the entire purpose of having him on the team.
With that in mind, one ought to wonder whether WWE could have used the opportunity to build someone like Murphy or Big E in his place by giving them the spot.
Given that Rollins is likely to go on a hiatus, WWE could have used the opportunity at Survivor Series to build a future top competitor. Jey Uso and Otis came out strong in a loss, and another Superstar could have done the same.
Therefore, was it the right call to give someone like The Messiah a spot on Team SmackDown for Survivor Series?
