There is a big bunch of fans who aren't fans of this tactic, but it is here to stay. What those fans need to understand here is the fact that whenever AEW mentions WWE, it ends up generating some buzz that turns heads around. Cody's throne-breaker entrance at Double Or Nothing was dubbed as being cringe-worthy by many fans, but it ended up becoming one of the most memorable moments from the show.

Things escalated to such an extent that WWE actually let Sami Zayn mention AEW on Monday Night Raw. That single mention must've made lots of unaware folks go and check out AEW on the web, and that's exactly what AEW's goal is. As we move ahead, AEW and WWE are bound to take subtle jibes at each other, and that would be nothing but beneficial for AEW's future shows.
