#2. Moxley turns into an afterthought on the mid-card

Jon Moxley became the hottest free agent in professional wrestling when he left WWE. His debut at Double Or Nothing took the wrestling world by storm and he instantly became the biggest Superstar in the industry for a while.

But what if AEW fails to push him in a way he would want them to, and move on to the young guns on the company's roster, turning him into an afterthought in the near future? Moxley has proven in WWE that he can hang with the best. A demotion in AEW - a place he trusts at the moment - would demoralize him to no end, and could possibly result in him leaving the company to look for greener pastures.
