Jon Moxley cut a scathing backstage promo soon after his debut, declaring war on anyone who comes in AEW's way. It was later revealed that Moxley asked Cody and company to give him a cameraman and a room. He went back and cut a bunch of promos in a single take.

It's clear as day here that AEW is giving a free pass to Moxley to do as he pleases. They have full faith in him and don't want to control him in any manner, which understandably will hamper his ability to wrestle or cut promos.

The biggest mistake AEW could do in the near future would be if it takes away Moxley's control over his promos and the way he wrestles. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
