Owens continues to pay for his betrayal
The Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens feud will never end, or at least, it never SHOULD end. The two men have had a truly legendary rivalry that dates all the way back to Ring of Honor, and since their wars down in NXT, Zayn has seemingly made it his number one goal to prevent Owens from achieving any form of success wherever he can.
Money in the Bank was no different, with Sami’s half nelson suplex pretty much ruling Owens out of the match.
That’s not the first time that spot has led to defeat for Owens either, with the same kind of thing happening during the Intercontinental Championship ladder match back at WrestleMania 32. Isn’t consistency fun?
