In what was a fantastic episode of Raw, WWE advanced the narrative for one of their biggest shows of the year, Royal Rumble.
From start to finish, Monday Night Raw definitely ran riot in Memphis with legions of wrestling fans all around the world praising the creativity presented to our screens tonight.
Considering that Braun Strowman's bout with Brock Lesnar is now cancelled, a certain superstar stepped up to the opportunity and delivered big in the main event of Monday Night Raw.
Vince McMahon's larger-than-life presence has always brought tremendous attention from the crowd, with the viewership likely to go pretty high tonight.
It was Bobby Lashley's shocking win that got the entire social media buzzing, with the Lunatic Fringe's future looking pretty messed up and uncertain.
The Revival have a genuine chance of going on to challenge for the Raw Tag-Team Championships, after the duo were successful in defeating Lucha House Party despite the conspiracies that have surrounded them throughout.
A more notable mention would go to Sasha Banks who delivered one of the most compelling promos in recent times, with the Boss promising to play no games and tap the Rowdy One at the Royal Rumble.
While the matches definitely enlightened the crowd, there are still a lot of things that the company tried to tell us vicariously through some of their segments and matches that happened. What were they? Let's find out.
#1 Bobby Lashley's victory opens the door for a blockbuster duo to return
If storylines are anything to take into consideration, then Bobby Lashley's shocking victory might just have opened the door for an interesting possibility.
Considering that WWE are really presenting 'The All Mighty' as a legitimate guy on their show now, holding the Intercontinental Championship puts him in a different pedestal altogether.
With the fans legitimately demanding something new from the management, this would be an ideal time for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to return to Monday Night Raw.
Since it was the Intercontinental Champion that played a pivotal role in their unfortunate exit from the show due to injuries, the duo could be looking to seek some sort of redemption from Lashley.
While it was pretty disappointing to see Dean Ambrose drop the gold so quickly, this might genuinely give someone like Sami Zayn a platform to shine on the biggest stage possible.
#2 Turning heel is the only 'legit' option to make this thing engaging
One of the most notable things on Monday Night Raw involved two of the most talented female competitors slug it out against Nia Jax and Tamina.
With Sasha Banks now confirmed to challenge Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble, there's a genuine chance that she snaps well before time in order to make things more engaging.
The fans have started reacting to the Boss who could genuinely give the Rowdy One a legitimate fight in Chase Field, Arizona, but WWE could be looking to draw the line in the sand with this one.
While both the competitors are gracefully taunting each other, this heated war of words is bound to get more serious as things continue to fall till the Royal Rumble.
I am genuinely enjoying what the creative team has planned for Sasha Banks, with Banks teasing the Rowdy One with the 'Four Horsewomen' pose at the end to close the segment.
Judging by the looks of it, something huge could be planned for the Royal Rumble, with the Boss eventually turning heel and joining hands with her friends to possibly seize the gold.
#3 Drew McIntyre's Ruthless Aggression makes him Vince McMahon's biggest project
After sidelining Braun Strowman out of the Universal title picture, Vince McMahon returned to Monday Night Raw with a blockbuster announcement to shake things up.
The Chairman was quickly interrupted by John Cena who took Vince McMahon down memory lane where the Cenation Leader stepped up when nobody else was willing to.
More emphasis was laid upon the fact that the 16-time World Champion possesses all the 'Ruthless Aggression' in the world that the Boss is so desperately searching in his roster today.
With Drew McIntyre's inclusion to the talk, it genuinely felt that WWE was vicariously displaying their emotions for the former NXT Champion who looks dead set to take the throne and move ahead with it.
The Scottish Terminator's chilling confrontation with the Boss felt interesting and coerced the fans into believing that he really is the one that the company needs to push at the biggest stage possible.
Since John Cena took the pin today, the Cenation Leader has become a roadblock in McIntyre's path to greatness which would eventually lead these two to lock horns.
The seeds were planted of McIntyre taking John Cena's throne at the Show of Shows, with the former NXT Champion possibly decimating the Cenation Leader at WrestleMania 35.
#4 The Demon will be unleashed at the Royal Rumble
There's no denying that Finn Balor is possibly one of the biggest independent stars in the world of professional wrestling and has earned his reputation of being called so.
Despite grabbing the headlines in his initial tenure with the WWE, the former NXT Champion failed to regain momentum after being injured in 2016 and the company decided to utilize him as a mid-carder.
While Balor continued to push himself to the limits, the creative booking coerced the company to look otherwise which led to the first-ever Universal Champion not reaching his full potential on the red brand.
However, it all changed tonight after the former Universal Champion took the matter into his own hands and pinned one of the greatest of all time in John Cena to earn his shot at the Universal Championship.
Considering that the dream match we all wanted to see is finally happening now, there's a legitimate possibility that Balor could enter Chase Field as the Demon King.
While Brock Lesnar has worked pretty well with other technically sound opponents, Balor's dark side brings a whole lot of intrigue to this much-awaited bout.
#5 Baron Corbin is the only roadblock in Braun Strowman's career
In what was one of the most disappointing segments of Monday Night Raw last week, Braun Strowman's journey to WrestleMania 35 is now in jeopardy after Vince McMahon sidelined him for his misconduct.
A genuine reason why the fans have lost their faith in Braun Strowman is due to the repetitiveness of his character which has made things pretty predictable.
If this storyline is anything to take into consideration, then the Monster Among Men might never become the Universal Champion until and unless the Beast Incarnate doesn't leave the company.
With Baron Corbin always being a major roadblock in Strowman's career, WWE could be looking to build this feud up to the Grandest Stage of Them All where we could see these two slug it out.
The fans definitely do not want to see Strowman in another main event feud, and with Corbin genuinely receiving nuclear heat from the WWE Universe, this could get a little exciting if provided with some creativity.
