Goldberg and Chris Jericho were mainstays in WCW, back during the Monday Night Wars. While Goldberg had quickly become one of the biggest stars in the company, Jericho was doing fine as a Cruiserweight star at the time. Somehow, the duo never had a match in WCW, but it all changed when Goldberg made his way to WWE in 2003. He first faced Jericho at Bad Blood 2003 and scored a pinfall victory over the former WWE Champion.

Chris Jericho and Goldberg are affiliated to different companies currently
In September of that year, Goldberg and Jericho faced off again, this time on an episode of RAW. The result was the same, this time around as well. Chris Jericho and Goldberg didn't have a match ever again. Jericho went on to become one of the greatest of all time. He is currently a major star in All Elite Wrestling. Goldberg is affiliated with WWE at the moment, and we could possibly see him take on Roman Reigns sometime in the future. As for another Goldberg vs. Jericho match, it seems like a pipe dream at this point, looking at the present situation. It's almost a guarantee that Jericho will have to end his career without a win over Goldberg.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
