Becky Lynch made her WrestleMania debut at the 32nd edition of the show and competed in a Triple Threat Match for the Women's title. She failed to win the belt, and the same story followed at WrestleMania 33, where she lost a Six-Pack Challenge for the SmackDown Women's title. The match featured Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Carmella, Natalya, and Mickie James.

Lynch was featured in the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. Her career took a dramatic turn in a matter of months and she ended up competing in the main event of WrestleMania 35 against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.

This was the first time in history that a WrestleMania main event was being contested for the Women's titles. Lynch won the match and bagged both the RAW and SmackDown Live Women's titles.
