The match ended with a victory for Yokozuna, after Mr. Fuji threw salt in Hart's eyes, aiding Yokozuna to pin him. Thus, Yokozuna became the youngest WWE Champion of the time. He was 26 years old when he won the belt from Hart.
Immediately after, Hulk Hogan came out to assist Hart but was instantly challenged to a WWE title match by Fuji. Hogan accepted the challenge and entered the ring for the match. Fuji tried to throw salt in Hogan's eyes but ended up blinding Yokozuna after Hogan moved at the last moment. This enabled Hogan to hit the WWE Champion with a Leg Drop and win the match to the crowd's absolute shock. The match lasted 22 seconds.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
