Now that Rey Mysterio has to extract Seth Rollins' eye at WWE Extreme Rules 2020, there was a time when the legendary luchador had to fight for the custody of his own son.

Dominick has suddenly become an interesting topic of conversation in recent times, but his involvement in Mysterio's latest feuds against Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins didn't mark the beginning of Dominick's association with WWE storylines.

During Mysterio's Custody Ladder Match against Eddie Guerrero at SummerSlam 2005, Dominick attempted to shake the ladder when Guerrero was about to secure the briefcase.

What did the briefcase contain, you ask? Apparently, legal documents pertaining to Dominick's custody were present inside a briefcase that was suspended over the ring, thanks to this bizarre stipulation.

In the kayfabe world, courts hardly matter when you can just fight to settle everything, I guess.

But could you imagine how different Rey Mysterio's WWE career would have been if Guerrero won this particular match at SummerSlam 2005?
