#1 The Boogeyman
The Boogeyman is one of the most bizarre wrestlers in recent history. During his tenure with WWE (including occasional cameos since his retirement from in-ring competition) he relished in eating worms and made sure that nobody felt safe in his presence. The Boogeyman's trademark (outside of the worms) was to hide in the shadows, behind doors, and around corners to startle, shock, and scare anybody he could, especially anybody he was set to stand against inside the ring.
After a brief encounter with John Cena, the presence of The Boogeyman was so shell-shocking that the 16-time WWE Champion froze and decided to leave his interview without uttering another word. The Boogeyman was a character that inflicted fear through the manners of disgust and surprise.
Would The Fiend, who also regularly utilizes the element of surprise, be intimidated by him? The men attempting to out-surprise each other could be a perfect set up for a story that would keep fans engaged, on the edge of their seats, and boost anxiety levels through the roof, just waiting to see what the Superstars might try next.
