When 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt made his eerie entrance for the first time at SummerSlam, the WWE Universe was utterly awestruck. From that moment, in my opinion, The Fiend officially became the most feared entity in WWE. He quickly defeated Finn Balor at the PPV, with his creepiness continuing into the ring.
The Fiend was the hottest thing in the entire company, and he probably still is. Therefore, there are a lot of Superstars we would love to see him face in the ring. So far, he has been booked as strong as possible, and now that he has been drafted to SmackDown, it's yet to be seen what the company has planned for him.
Many might agree that his recent match at Hell in a Cell or the outcome of the match slightly hurt his credibility, but the diabolical character is still over with fans. With that being said, here are five blockbuster matches for The Fiend we would love to see in WWE.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5 The Fiend vs Demon Finn Balor
We already talked about The Fiend and Finn Balor's match at SummerSlam, but the match simply took place so that The Fiend could go over, as it was his first match under the spooky character. Many fans wanted Balor to don his face paint and wrestle as the Demon King, but the latter appeared in his normal form, which was a wise move from the company.
Balor is still undefeated in WWE as the Demon King since arriving on the main roster, so it would've been a big mistake if he was squashed by The Fiend at SummerSlam. The inaugural Universal Champion is currently competing in NXT, but a match with The Fiend, which will see two monstrosities clashing in an epic battle, is still something we would love to see in WWE.
#4 The Fiend vs Kane
Kane has been WWE's resident demon for the past 20 years. The younger half-brother of The Undertaker has been responsible for some of the most despicable acts in WWE history. From kidnapping fellow Superstars to setting several WWE personnel on fire, Kane is not to be taken lightly. Despite portraying a monster in the ring, Kane is one of the most respected Superstars backstage.
He has been putting over young talent for years, and him putting over Wyatt once again is something he won't have a problem with. As a matter of fact, Kane was Bray Wyatt's first opponent when the latter arrived on the main roster. The Big Red Machine is no longer as active in the ring as he once was, so putting over The Fiend before completely stepping out of the ring will benefit the latter greatly.
Kane was attacked by The Fiend when he returned to RAW last month, so a match between the two will be very interesting to see.
#3 The Fiend vs Sting
For many years, fans have wanted to see the dream match between The Undertaker and Sting. A few months ago, the company teased a match between the two, but unfortunately, it's unlikely that the match will ever take place. However, even though we won't get to see Sting versus The Deadman, a match between The Fiend and Sting is a possibility if WWE clears the Icon for in-ring action.
Ever since WWE signed a deal with Saudi Arabia, we have got the chance to witness several blockbuster matches such as John Cena vs Triple H and The Undertaker vs Goldberg. Due to this, there is a possibility that we might get to witness more dream matches down the line, such as this one.
Sting was injured by Seth Rollins during his match with the latter in 2015. Since then, the WWE Hall of Famer hasn't stepped inside the ring with anyone. His last match was a complete disaster, and a legend such as himself deserves a better farewell match to reflect on.
#2 The Fiend vs Willow (Jeff Hardy)
Jeff Hardy has been out of action for a while after sustaining a leg injury in April, which forced him and his brother Matt Hardy to relinquish their SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Following the injury, Hardy underwent surgery and was expected to return in 6-9 months. He was reportedly arrested two months ago on charges of public intoxication and is currently awaiting his WWE return.
According to rumors, Jeff Hardy could return to the company as his old TNA character, Willow, after he posted a video on Instagram featuring a performance of Staind's 'It's Been Awhile'. Hardy debuted the character in Impact Wrestling when he was involved in a feud with Matt Hardy, who at the time was known as 'Broken' Matt Hardy.
A match between Willow and The Fiend will be absolutely epic. If Hardy does debut the character in WWE, fans will be clamoring to see him face The Fiend.
#1 The Fiend vs The Undertaker
The Undertaker being included on this list is pretty obvious. The Phenom has been in WWE for almost three decades. During those three decades, he has dug holes and collected souls.
He has faced off against so many legends—both current and future WWE Hall of Famers—and he held the longest winning streak in WWE history, with 21 straight victories at WrestleMania, which ended at WrestleMania XXX.
The Undertaker has been the most feared Superstar in WWE for years, however, The Deadman could hang up his boots anytime soon. He could take on 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt in a retirement match, passing the torch to the latter in the process.
