#4 Daniel Bryan's contract expires (or does it)

Could we see the return of Bryan Danielson?

Daniel Bryan's WWE contract is set to expire on September 1st and he hasn't yet signed a new deal with them. This has led to speculation that he is set to leave WWE and wrestle on the Indies and possibly companies like Ring Of Honour and NJPW.

He did state, before getting cleared, that if he did get cleared he would stay with WWE otherwise he would leave and continue his in-ring career elsewhere. He should sign it but it hasn't been done yet. WWE could take advantage of this and really take us by surprise. They announce that Daniel Bryan has left the company after his contract expired.

However, the reality would be Daniel Bryan signing a new deal with WWE and getting clearance to perform for Ring Of Honour and NJPW on loan for three to four months. This loan is kept a secret from everyone except for the WWE, ROH and NJPW officials who really need to know.

Bryan Danielson returns and wrestles all the dream matches with the best non-WWE wrestlers in the world. He is accompanied everywhere with specially WWE-appointed brain doctors for concussion-testing after every match. It seems like nothing is going on and Bryan has just returned to his roots.

He wrestles at the Tokyo Dome, on January 4th, against Naito, Ibushi or any other dream opponent for him. After doing all of his appearances good, Bryan makes his way back to the States after the expiration of his secret loan from WWE. If pulled off and kept a secret from everybody, this would be the biggest worked shoot in pro wrestling for a very long time.

However, this is something that is extremely unlikely to happen although there could be hope as seen by Chris Jericho's run in New Japan. The wrestling world could be shocked once more if WWE actually goes ahead with this radical move. There is a reason it is called Fantasy Booking.
