WWE presented the final episode of WWE RAW ahead of Backlash, the pay-per-view that begins a new era in WWE without the brand split as part of their monthly events.
Whilst the go-home episode of the show was supposed to be the one that teased enough that the WWE Universe would be forced to watch Backlash on Sunday night, it seems that one thing that definitely stood out was the number of botches on the night.
The Greatest Royal Rumble event was definitely a show that had its own fair share of botches and whilst WWE were busy pandering to their fanbase by making a big deal out of Titus O'Neil's show-stealing botch, there were a number of other WWE superstars who had botches of their own on Monday night.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5 No Way to make an entrance
No Way Jose was promoted to Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania a few weeks ago, and much like Adam Rose a few years ago, Jose brings his own entourage down to the ring with him.
This week on Raw he faced Baron Corbin, a man that he was able to defeat thanks to a distraction from Titus O'Neil, but as he made his way out to the ring, the woman at the front of his conga line dropped her maraca, then tried to pick it up, gave up and watch it be kicked across the stage instead.
#4 Sasha's missed attack
Sasha Banks has an on-going storyline with Bayley right now, but her attention was turned to The Riott Squad this week on Raw as all three members of the group made their way to ringside.
Ruby Riott has quite the reputation when it comes to her aggression, but Banks wasn't able to back up hers when she blatantly missed a kick to Riott and the former NXT star decided to sell it anyway.
Even the commentary team were forced to comment on the fact that she didn't actually hit the move, as Sasha's reputation for botches continues ever since one of her worst back at The Royal Rumble.
#3 Ronda misses her cue
Ronda Rousey has had one match since she appeared on WWE TV for the first time at Royal Rumble, where she was able to defeat Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Since WrestleMania, Rousey has been added to the Women's Division on Monday Night Raw and been made part of the current storylines.
This week Rousey's partnership with Natalya continued, but when Bliss attempted to involve herself in the match between Natalya and Mickie James, it seemed very awkward, as though Rousey missed her cue and came in late to then chase Bliss around the ring.
#2 Jinder hits his own partner
Jinder Mahal has only recently moved over to Monday Night Raw and this week was his chance to make some friends when he teamed with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to take on Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, and Bobby Lashley.
This obviously didn't go to plan for the Modern Day Maharaja and that could be to do with the fact that he inadvertently hit Kevin Owens in the face when the trio was beating down Reigns in the opening segment of Raw. Owens reacted to what seemed to be a stray hand that struck the former Universal Champion as he attacked Reigns ahead of Lashley's entrance into the arena.
#1 The sound man gets a cameo
Renee Young had a much smaller role on Raw this week than she is perhaps used to since she was only seen interviewing Titus O'Neil about his botch at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but when the replay was shown on the screen WWE made a huge botch of their own.
Backstage technicians failed to turn down the sound whilst the clip was playing, which allowed the sound man to remain loud enough for the WWE Universe to hear. He was heard informing Renee of the time she had left until the clip ended and then counting her back in, which is such a rookie error for a company of WWE's level to make.
