#4. Brock Lesnar challenges Walter

Walter could become the most intriguing target of all for Brock Lesnar.

Walter is a unique star whose brutal style got him over around the world, before arriving at the top of the NXT UK brand. While the hardcore fans who follow this product generally like his heel persona and ring work, NXT UK does have a problem. There is simply no one on the brand nor on the horizon who is positioned as a credible challenger to him.

Enter Brock Lesnar.

The idea of WWE using Lesnar on the NXT UK brand is pretty far out there, but unusual circumstances could call for unusual measures. August 31 will see the second NXT UK TakeOver special, and share the date with major events from not only New Japan (also emanating from the UK that day), but upstart AEW.

This is one of WWE’s more minor brands airing on the same day these other two top promotions will bring out their big guns. Nonetheless, with a feeling hanging over WWE that AEW in particular may be legitimate competition, it is conceivably possible WWE would do something huge to steal back the wrestling world’s buzz for this important day.
