#2. Brock Lesnar holds out for WrestleMania
There’s a very real argument to be made that Brock Lesnar is the biggest name at WWE’s disposal, and part time legends like The Rock, John Cena, and The Undertaker are the only other guys in the conversation.
Given Rock and Cena are more entrenched in their acting careers than WWE at the moment, and The Undertaker is well past the point of reliably delivering in the ring, that makes Lesnar an immediately attractive option to headline big shows, including WrestleMania.
Money in the Bank has only been deployed at WrestleMania once before, when Seth Rollins used his briefcase to crash the party and force an impromptu Triple Threat with Roman Reigns and Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.
Lesnar could conceivably continue teasing cash-ins before finally using his opportunity to schedule himself a title shot at ‘Mania. It’s possible Rollins will still be Universal Champion by then, but it’s far from a sure thing.
