Right now, despite all the criticisms of his character, Seth Rollins is the standard bearer in WWE, and given just how good his first big match on SmackDown was, it's clear that Murphy could one day take that mantle. Although he doesn't have the same backing of management in WWE, Buddy is just as talented as Seth, and if he's one day given the chance to step in the ring with The Kingslayer, the two could create absolute magic.

There are plenty of similarities between the two, and with Seth playing the plucky underdog quite well, working with a hard-hitting, New Japan style performer would create the perfect mesh of talent. While Murphy isn't ready to be a top heel in WWE right now, he's certainly got all the makings of a main event player, and to test his skills, he needs to go up against Rollins in the near future.
