Evolution was a historic event for WWE

Last year, WWE held their first ever women-only pay-per-view, Evolution. WWE created a lot of hype for the show, and they were successful in sending fans home happy. However, as per some reports, WWE has no plans to do Evolution this year because of Ronda Rousey's absence in the company.

For a wrestling fan, who watched Evolution last year, this will be a disappointment. WWE takes all the credit for the women’s revolution in pro wrestling, and now, they can’t step back. Without Ronda Rousey, Evolution wouldn’t fail. WWE has multiple talented females like Becky Lynch, Naomi, Charlotte, Natalya, and Sasha Banks, who have the potential to sell out stadiums.

As of now, they haven’t confirmed another edition of Evolution, and it’s likely that they will not host the show this year. However, in reality, they should focus more on doing female only shows, and it will prove why women wrestlers should not be overlooked in wrestling.
