#3. Late WWE Superstar Chris Benoit’s son David Benoit
Chris Benoit was known as one of the best wrestlers in WWE. He enjoyed a successful career that took him to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
WWE has distanced itself from Benoit over the past decade due to his involvement in a double-murder and suicide. However, WWE officials could end up making a favorable business decision. Chris’ son David Benoit followed in his father’s footsteps to become a wrestler. He recently signed his first wrestling contract.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
Even though it’s a long shot as WWE might not want to associate with another Benoit again, the company could repackage the wrestler. He could come into the company with a clean slate and not refer to his father or past.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, Vince Russo had a similar opinion on David Benoit. He supported David’s goal and believed that he should not be held accountable for his father's actions:
"I mean, if it's that kid's dream and he is working as hard as everybody else. Gosh, bro. The sins of his father, I don't think he should be held accountable for, you know. And if the guy never gets a job because of that, man, I feel really, really, really bad for the dude, bro. I mean, what was he supposed to do?" said Russo.
David has been seen behind the scenes with a few top WWE Superstars. If he turns out to be a good in-ring performer, WWE could look to sign him to the company.
