The Undertaker had assumed that he was retired even when he teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. If you want a complete summary of The Undertaker's thoughts at the time, when he believed that he was done for good, you may read about it right here.
In fact, it was Vince McMahon who said this to The Undertaker, at that point:
He was like, 'Mark, whatever you want to do… I think you have a lot more left, but it's completely up to you. It's your decision. You do what's right for you.
And of course, we all remember the time when The Undertaker thought that he was done after his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, where he left his hat, his coat, and his gloves in the middle of the ring and walked away to a very emotional response. As time would tell, that would certainly not be the last ride for The Undertaker.
Even if The Undertaker believes he's done, chances are he's far from it.
