Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had one of the more personal feuds in recent memory, but WWE would be foolish to not consider putting the long-time friends together as a tag team, even on a short-term basis.

Owens is busy as the Universal champion, but his reign at the top won't last forever. The company has too many talents worthy of a run with the title to keep the belt on him for too much longer.

Zayn has had a few small feuds since his program with Owens ended, but none of them have led to anything big for the crowd-favourite Superstar. Sometimes, when a person is struggling as a singles star, the best thing to do is stick them in the tag team division.

Owens is someone that fans want to cheer for. The reactions he gets during his entrances prove this. He is a great heel who can turn the crowd against him, but eventually, the fans always cheer for him again.

Zayn wouldn't make a great heel, so the best option would be to have Owens turn face. Their real history has been featured on WWE television enough for it to make sense that they would make up eventually. The fans would love it and the matches they would produce would elevate the entire tag title scene in WWE.
