Insane Championship Wrestling, based in Scotland, created a similar concept to Money in the Bank, which included a hybrid with WWE's Royal Rumble concept, called Square Go!

The match rules are very similar to a Royal Rumble match, with 30 wrestlers entering at 2-minute intervals, with elimination occurring when both feet hit the floor after being thrown over the top rope. The winner ultimately receives the Square Go! Briefcase, which guarantees this winner a shot at the ICW World Championship any time within the next twelve months, anytime, anywhere.

Many superstars of WWE's NXT UK have competed in the match over the years, which is held annually by the independent promotion which is now featured on the WWE Network.

#2. IMPACT Wrestling's Feast or Fired match is similar to Money in the Bank

The Feast or Fired concept first started in IMPACT Wrestling back during the TNA days in 2007. The match follows a similar style to Money in the Bank involving a number of briefcases that are up for grabs to be won.

The rules of the match are more extensive than Money in the Bank, with four briefcases being placed on a pole on each ringpost, with the briefcases containing a world title match, an X-Division title match, a tag team title match, and a pink slip meaning whichever wrestler collects this briefcase is fired. The wrestlers do not know which contract is in which briefcase, so it is essentially pot luck.

The wrestler is only confirmed as the briefcase holder, once they collect the briefcase, exit the ring with both feet touching the floor. Former world title contract winners have included Scott Steiner, Samoa Joe and Drew Galloway, of course known as Drew McIntyre in WWE.

#1. King of the Mountain is similar to Money in the Bank

The King of the Mountain match first arrived in IMPACT Wrestling during the Jeff Jarrett era as NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Jarrett won the first-ever King of the Mountain and immediately used the match name as his own nickname.

The match rules are as follows. Five wrestlers start the match, with the aim of scoring a pinfall or submission to be eligible to climb the ladder. Once eligible, an opponent can collect the prize that the referee is holding, usually a championship, and climb the ladder to place the title and hang it above the ring.

Essentially, unlike Money in the Bank, it is a backwards ladder match in the sense that the championship must be placed and hooked, as opposed to the title being unhooked and taken. If the wrestler is pinned or submits, then they have to spend two minutes in a cage known as the penalty box.

There have only been twelve King of the Mountain matches in IMPACT history, with Jeff Jarrett winning the most.
