The Men and Women's Memorial Battle Royal is a complete waste of time and only serves to make sure that nearly every WWE superstar makes gets to appear on the big show. Beyond that, neither match has helped elevate the superstars that happen to win it, which makes it even more of a waste of time.
Think about it, Naomi and Mark Henry both won their respective matches last year and WrestleMania 34 and the WWE did nothing with either of them. Not only should that show just how much the matches really mean to the company, it also shows just how little winning one of the matches really means.
In the end, WWE needs to find other ways to implement more superstars into WrestleMania 35 and stop relying on lazy booking to do so. Of course, this isn't all WWE's fault, especially when coming up with a dream match after dream match can prove challenging, but the company can do so much better than this!
