Zack Ryder was part of WWE for more than a decade ahead of his release back in 2020.
Ryder's fiancee Chelsea Green was signed by the company in 2018 and then worked her way up through the ranks starting in NXT. Green and Ryder were together throughout their time in WWE and the former IMPACT Wrestling star was even promoted to SmackDown in 2020, before suffering a wrist injury on her debut.
Things seemingly failed to work out for the couple since Ryder was released from WWE in April before Green made her main roster debut in November. The former NXT Superstar had been sidelined with several injuries throughout her career before WWE made the decision to cut her exactly a year after her husband.
Interestingly, Green was then released from the company earlier this year and the couple have been able to make the move over to IMPACT. Currently, under the ring names Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, the couple are finally being given the opportunity to work together.
