#3. The Miz missed the event for the first time in 12 years
The Miz made his WrestleMania debut in a dark ECW Championship No.1 Contender's battle royal at WrestleMania 24. Since then, the A-Lister had never missed a single WrestleMania for the next eleven years.

Six out of his twelve WrestleMania appearances were on title matches, including his main event WWE Championship match against John Cena at WrestleMania 27. He's competed in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal on two occasions and also in a mixed tag team match with his wife Maryse against Cena & Nikki Bella.
However, the Miz had to let his streak die as he couldn't compete in the planned SmackDown Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 36. Instead, WWE changed it into a ladder match with one member of each team competing for the title.
The A-Lister had some health issues before the tapings of the event, and WWE didn't want to take any chances, especially in the current situation, and wrote him off from the match. Fortunately for the former WWE Champion, Morrison won the match and the two retained their titles, effectively having The Miz there in spirit.
