#5 Ruby Riot
Plenty of other women could have filled this final spot, but given a question of seniority and credibility, Ruby Riot stands out as the only other option.
Plenty of women from the Mae Young Classic who appear mostly on live events, such as Sage Beckett, Bianca Belair and Abbey Laith, are talented enough to get a shot and put on a fun performance, but Riot is on the true roster, which is something those women cannot boast about themselves.
The same applies to Taynara Conti, although she would have more of a reason to steal a spot on this card than any others since she's aligned with The Undisputed Era.
Even compared to the women who have been in NXT longer, like Aliyah and Liv Morgan, Ruby Riot has a much better track record of wins and losses, coming off as a better contender who would be chosen by William Regal to represent the brand and hopefully secure a victory for Team NXT.
Now that Riot has worked alongside Nikki Cross, a pairing of those two with The Iconic Duo and a team captain of either Ember Moon or Kairi Sane (with the other being the NXT women's champion) could have been an interesting layout for the women's representatives of the developmental brand at Survivor Series.
Alas, this match isn't going to happen, but if it did, do you think Team NXT would have stood a chance against Team Raw and Team SmackDown? Tell us why or why not by leaving a comment below!
