#2 The Rock rejects WWE's offer to host Monday Night RAW

The Rock
Back in 2004, The Rock left WWE to pursue a full-time Hollywood career, and the decision ended up reaping him rich benefits in the long run. He would come back to WWE seven years later, to start a multi-year program with WWE Superstar John Cena. Many aren't aware that The Rock was approached by WWE to be the guest host of Monday Night RAW, back in 2010.
This was when RAW used to have different guest hosts every single week. The hosts ranged from sports celebs and Hollywood icons to former WWE Superstars and Hall of Famers. The Rock had previously talked about hosting Monday Night RAW, when he made a rare appearance on SmackDown via satellite, in 2009. The Great One refused to guest host Monday Night RAW and had a valid reason for the same. According to Wrestling Observer, The Rock was going to be in Mexico to promote his movie, Tooth Fairy, and hence couldn't commit to hosting RAW.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
