5 Current wrestling couples who are split between WWE and AEW 

#1. WWE's Lana and AEW's Miro

Lana could become a WWE Women's Tag Team Champion at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs next weekend, after what has been a lengthy feud with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

Lana has been put through the announce table on Monday Night RAW an impressive nine times in recent weeks as many WWE fans believed that Lana was being punished for the fact that her husband Rusev had made the move over to AEW.

Rusev was one of the shock releases back in April when the company was forced to make budget cuts surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst it was unclear where Rusev would go following his release, he later appeared on AEW Dynamite under his new name Miro.

Miro has since had an interesting run on AEW Dynamite whilst his wife has remained part of WWE in his absence.

Lana was recently part of a Network documentary where she revealed just how tough it has been for her in recent months because she became so used to having her husband by her side in the WWE locker room.
