When Sheamus made his debut for WWE, he was a presence in the main event picture. He won the WWE Championship on a couple of occasions, including one against John Cena. That was during Cena's run as the company's top star.

He hasn't held a major title since 2015. In that time, however, he has been a multi-time tag team Champion. Sheamus has also won both the Intercontinental and United States titles in his career.

Like Natalya, Sheamus is likely featured consistently due to being a favorite of the management. Through all of the recent drafts, he is always in a storyline and on TV.

Sheamus won the US title from Riddle, a newer star, and dropped it to Damien Priest. Whether he played heel or face, Sheamus has always been a featured performer. Mr. McMahon likely sees him as an extremely reliable performer.
