#1. Randy Orton has always been booked as a top star in WWE
Randy Orton wouldn't have won 14 major titles in WWE if he wasn't a favorite of Vince McMahon. The Viper has practically been a top star since the early 2000s, winning many Championships along the way.
During his tenure under McMahon, Orton has won the Royal Rumble (twice) and Money in the Bank. He has main-evented WrestleMania more than once and was booked atop the company alongside Triple H and Cena.
While Cena and Triple H are not currently active, Orton has remained a prominent fixture in WWE. He's coming off a run as RAW Tag Team Champions alongside Riddle in RK-Bro. The Viper has also avoided any severe punishments during his career after a rough start to his career.
Orton might not be booked on the level of Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins in 2022. However, he can still be counted on as a title challenger for any major belt in the company when needed. He even defeated Drew McIntyre during his run as Champion.
