John Cena is a WWE icon and one of the company's most significant superstars of all time. As one of WWE's biggest homegrown talents, he has left a huge mark on the industry and continues to put smiles on the faces of millions around the world.

Cena is currently a part-time superstar and makes rare appearances on WWE television due to being involved in several Hollywood projects.

The 16-time WWE world champion stated a few years ago that he would "never walk away" from WWE, but he's at the end of his in-ring career.

“I will never walk away from the WWE. When do I walk away with a sense of mental and physical sanity? I’m right at that precipice," said Cena. "I feel great, I’m in the best shape of my life. It’s not that I couldn’t continue, but I think from this point on I run the risk of tipping that balance the wrong way.”

When he eventually decides to hang up his boots, which could happen in the next five years, John Cena will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

What makes John Cena a unique superstar is how he has been a superhero to thousands of children through his association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

As a result, even when he retires from in-ring competition, Cena's accomplishments will continue to live on outside the squared circle.
