#4 WWE stars Brian Kendrick and Daniel Bryan
Brian Kendrick and Daniel Bryan may be on different WWE brands at present, but the two men remain close friends.
Back in 1999, Daniel Bryan began training at the Texas Wrestling Academy, which was where he later had his first-ever professional wrestling match against Brian Kendrick.
The two men have since remained friends and have gone on to become veterans in WWE even though the two men have had varying levels of success.
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion talked about his friendship with Daniel Bryan during an interview with TalkSPORT back in 2016. This was where he recalled that it was Bryan who opened his eyes to several new wrestling styles.and “really broadened my horizons and opened my eyes to what wrestling could really be."
“We had a lot of laughs together, but what I remember most is the extra hours we put in together. I really love wrestling, there’s no way he loves any less than I do. I don’t want to say he loves it more because I don’t want to give anyone that kind of credit, but let’s say he doesn’t. He exposed me to bits of wrestling I’d never seen before, he showed me All Japan wrestling back when there was no YouTube, guys like Misawa, I’d never heard of these guys before Daniel. So getting to study with him, putting me in extra hours of training it really broadened my horizons and opened my eyes to what wrestling could really be. That’s what I’ll remember, us pushing each other and trying to be the best wrestler we could be.”
Brian Kendrick has gone on the train a number of fellow WWE wrestlers in recent years and is now seen as a veteran on the 205 Live brand. Daniel Bryan, on the other hand, is a former World Champion and is still one of the biggest stars in WWE right now.
