While we see our favourite WWE Superstars performing in the ring week in and week out, it's easy to forget that these men and women have normal lives just like the rest of us when they step away from the bright arena lights.
They have loving families, children, and friends. And, for a lot of them, their best friends come from within the business. After all, it's easy to really get on the same level as other people who are going through the same struggles as you on a daily basis.
In fact, for a number of Superstars on the WWE roster today, their best friends are also very much their colleagues. And, we're here today to celebrate these friendships.
So, without any further ado, here is our list of five current WWE superstars and their best friends:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5 Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss
Nia Jax and WWE Raw Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss' friendship/rivalry on-screen has been a little strange, to say the least. They were good friends, and still act like friends even though Nia is trying to kill Alexa on-screen, and "Little Miss Bliss" keeps trying to manipulate her bigger friend. It's all very strange.
But, away from the ring, the pair are inseparable. Their social media activity is a great indicator that opposites really do work well together and these two are as tight as they come.
#4 The Four Horsewomen
The Four Horsewomen of professional wrestling comprises of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Bayley. The four women who model themselves after Charlotte's father, Ric Flair's legendary group, The Four Horsemen, have been the best of friends since their time together in NXT.
Despite having battled each other for the women's gold on a number of occasions, the four women are more than happy to show their love and respect for each other away from the squared circle. However, Charlotte in a recent interview admitted to having some real-life rivalry with Sasha Banks and from the look of things, they haven't really patched it up. That hasn't stopped them from having classics with each other, however.
And, who knows, now that all four are babyfaces, we might get to see them team up!
#3 Enzo and Cass
The now finished on-screen friendship between Enzo and Cass might be over but that's just a shadow of what their actual real-life friendship is all about. After all, Enzo Amore and Big Cass have been friends ever since they were teenagers.
The two met during a game of pickup basketball and have been nothing short of brothers in the years that have passed since. A friendship of more than a decade is something that can't be scoffed at.
No matter what your opinion of the two men from a fan's perspective, you gotta respect that sort of bond.
#2 Finn Balor and Karl Anderson
This one might surprise a casual fan, but Karl Anderson's best friend in the world is not Luke Gallows or AJ Styles, but rather, Finn Balor.
Anderson and Balor met when the Irishman first moved to Japan back in the 2000s and the two immediately developed a bond that has stayed strong through the years and the different continents the two men have worked on.
Anderson was an original member of the Bullet Club that Finn started back in New Japan Pro Wrestling, and you can see how much love there is between the two men in any of their interactions away from the squared circle.
#1 Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Words cannot describe just how deep the bond between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn runs. The pair have been best friends for over fifteen years and through their journey from young indie wrestlers to top WWE guys together has been nothing short of heartwarming.
Just watch the video above and nothing more needs to be said.
