#1 Current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns would be The Head of the Table on Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions
Current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is widely considered to be one of the standout characters currently on WWE television.
After withdrawing from the WrestleMania 36 event due to COVID concerns, in which he was scheduled to win the Universal Championship from Goldberg, Roman Reigns returned to WWE in August 2020.
Since then, The Big Dog has embraced a new heel character, aligned himself with Paul Heyman, won the Universal Championship and dominated Friday Night SmackDown in the process.
However, this Tribal Chief heel character hasn't always been Roman Reigns' presentation in WWE.
For years, WWE attempted to push Reigns as the "new John Cena," becoming the company's new top babyface and face of WWE. Despite being incredibly popular, a vocal part of the WWE Universe largely rejected Reigns, audibly booing him out of arenas.
Roman Reigns' WWE career has also seen some incredible moments. Reigns infamously defeated The Undertaker, in what was thought to be The Deadman's final match at WrestleMania 33. The Tribal Chief was also heavily booed during his 2015 Royal Rumble victory, despite sharing a ring with popular WWE icon The Rock.
Roman Reigns was also forced to vacate the Universal Championship and step away from WWE in 2018 after announcing the re-occurence of his leukemia diagnosis. However, Reigns was able to triumphantly return in 2019, announcing the remission of the illness.
Being involved in so many huge moments in recent WWE history, a Roman Reigns interview on The Broken Skull Sessions with Stone Cold Steve Austin would be a must-see viewing and please members of the WWE Universe around the world.
