#2 Vince McMahon brings out the fire in AJ Styles

When AJ Styles made his WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, there were major concerns in the WWE Universe about Vince McMahon not using him properly or even "burying him" just because he was not an original WWE guy.

Things turned out to be the opposite as AJ Styles went on to defeat John Cena and became a two-time WWE Champion within two years of his WWE debut. Vince McMahon clearly considered him to be a top WWE Superstar and this was the reason why he didn't hesitate in taking a beating from him during this "Christmas special" episode of SmackDown Live in December 2018.

At the end of the show, Vince McMahon met AJ Styles backstage and asked him "who are you?" to which the Phenomenal One said that he AJ Styles and SmackDown is the house that he built. McMahon went on to ask him that if that's so then why was he not competing that night, and why was "the new" Daniel Bryan raising hell on SmackDown?

Vince McMahon told Styles that they both were very similar and he wanted to see the animal inside AJ Styles. The WWE Chairman went on to slap him, which enraged the Phenomenal One as he took out Vince McMahon with a right hand. WWE officials came and stopped a furious Styles as Vince McMahon was lying on the floor after that huge strike!

After the attack, AJ Styles went on to tweet that if necessary, he'll do it again! Well, Vince got what he wanted, didn't he?
