#2 Sasha Banks and Bayley are role models and best friends
Sasha Banks and Bayley being best friends is evident in and out of the ring. Their chemistry in the ring is effortless, producing stellar matches dating back to WWE NXT.
Despite being women's tag team champions together, they didn't become best friends from day one. Bayley shared how she and Sasha didn't immediately click:
“Well actually, as far as our personal friendship, that took longer than anything because we’re such different people,”
Bayley would go on to reveal how her friendship with Sasha developed.
"Once we started learning that we're both dorks who loved wrestling since we were 10 years old, and the way we grew up together, that's when it started being, 'Alright, she's kind of cool.' We kind of found our characters at the same time, so that was very helpful. When we had promos, we could use each other. We can be in each other's promos and help find each other, so, I'm so lucky. I couldn't have done that whole pandemic without anybody else.
Bayley and Sasha have found not only great success in NXT but also friendship. Hopefully, the former will return from her injury soon and reunite with The Boss.
#1 Shelton Benjamin and Brock Lesnar are friends from their college days
Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin being best friends isn't a shocker if you've followed their careers. They met each other at the University of Minnesota, where they competed on the wrestling team.
After WWE approached the university, both Benjamin and Brock got signed to OVW. The latter was the company's developmental base before NXT. They worked as a tag team in OVW and lived together as well.
They got split as a tag team when they moved up to WWE's main roster. Although they don't spend as much together anymore because of their schedules, they still maintain their best friends status. Lesnar even named Benjamin as the godfather of his daughter Mya.
