A few years ago, Ziggler starred in a WWE Studios movie called Countdown. In his movie review, Brian Truitt of the USA Today newspaper did not waste the chance to point out the resemblance between the superstar and Russell.
"Like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Hulk Hogan before him, and more recently John Cena and Dean Ambrose, Ziggler shows off his cinematic physical mettle and brings a Kurt Russell vibe to Countdown," Truitt wrote.
Ziggler has been a part of Vince McMahon's company for more than a decade and a half. He has won several titles, including the World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental Title, and the United States Championship.
The 41-year-old is currently active on Monday Night RAW. He recently teamed up with Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, and Robert Roode to face The Mysterios and The Street Profits. With Ziggler's team ultimately being defeated.
