The former Universal Champion was once seen as The Prizefighter and a fantastic heel on the red brand. This was the character that the WWE Universe believed he would be bringing back, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

Owens has instead come over to RAW with the same attitude that he had on SmackDown, an attitude that saw him stuck in the mid-card.
The storyline with Big E on RAW at present appears to be the best time to turn Kevin Owens since the WWE Champion did attack him following their match this week. There are so many faces in the title picture on RAW including Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Owens, and one of them needs to turn heel in order to create a believable story.
Of the men listed, Owens has already made a name for himself as a heel in both NXT and as part of the main roster.
