#3 Robert Roode has been absent from WWE
Another former NXT Champion who has not been on WWE TV recently, Robert Roode was a semi-prominent figure on SmackDown until the COVID-19 pandemic caused the US and Canada to close their borders. Roode, who lives in Canada, has not been able to travel for WWE's TV tapings.
It is a shame, as a man with Roode's talent and ability should be in a better position, whether he appears on TV or not. The Glorious One was most recently in a team with Dolph Ziggler and was reportedly set to team with him and Sonya Deville in a mixed tag team match against Heavy Machinery and Mandy Rose, at WrestleMania.

And despite not appearing on WWE programming for over five months, Roode moved between brands. He and Ziggler were drafted to RAW to replace AJ Styles, who went the other way. Roode's name was only mentioned by the Show-Off in a promo.
So once he returns to WWE, expect the two of them to go after RAW Tag Team Championship. But for now, Robert Roode remains off our screens and there is no indication towards his eventual return.
