Dominik Mysterio, son of the legendary WWE Superstar and former world champion Rey Mysterio, has started his journey to take forward the legacy of the Mysterio family in professional wrestling. He first appeared on WWE TV as a kid during his father's feud with Eddie Guerrero.

Years later, Dominik started appearing alongside Rey Mysterio on WWE TV in 2019. For over a year, he appeared as a side character, helping his father in his storylines, but WWE was slowly sowing the seeds for his eventual debut.

After a heated rivalry against Seth Rollins and Murphy, Dominik Mysterio had his debut WWE match at SummerSlam 2020 against Rollins and impressed fans with his performance and wrestling skills.

Recently, at WrestleMania Backlash, Rey and Dominik Mysterio won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. They created history by becoming the first father-son pair in WWE history to win the tag team titles together. There has been so much talk of Dominik taking over the mask from his father and competing under it.

While WWE could go down that route, another interesting idea could be to let Dominik introduce his alter ego - Prince Mysterio. There could be a storyline that could force him to take extreme measures and transform into Prince Mysterio to save the name of his family and the entire Lucha culture.
